THE
ZAMBEZI WATERFRONT
The Zambezi Waterfront is conveniently situated on the banks
of the Zambezi River 4 km upstream from the Victoria Falls.
The Zambezi Waterfront has been designed to cater for all
travellers who wish to either experience the mighty Zambezi River, the
wonder of the Victoria Falls or who are just passing through. The Waterfront has a large serviced campsite, erected fully
serviced tents and en-suite chalets along with family rooms.
The en-suite chalets and family rooms are simply furnished with
mosquito nets for all the beds and coffee and tea making facilities. A lovely raised wooden deck stretches out over the river with stunning views both up and down river, where the spray from Victoria Falls can be clearly seen when the river is full. The restaurant area and open bar look out over the deck and swimming pool. Various activities can be arranged from the Zambezi
Waterfront such as:
THE
BUSHFRONT LODGE The Bushfront is a lovely little lodge situated in Livingstone and is conveniently situated only 6 km from the Victoria Falls and is only a 5 minute walk from the Zambezi River.
On arrival at the lodge you are welcomed by the friendly
staff and shown to the pool area for a refreshing drink before being
shown to your en-suite chalets. The chalets are spacious and airy set amongst the natural
forest and bush. Chalets
are spaced well apart from each other ensuring privacy to all guests.
The showers are built out of masses of rocks with a cascading water
flow, a mini Victoria Falls! The Bushfront Lodge is a family friendly lodge and the
chalets can easily accommodate three beds or there are the Family
Rooms for larger families. The
dining and bar area is situated right next to the swimming pool that
allows parents to keep an eye on the little ones while they are
relaxing in the shade. The grounds are surrounded by dense African woodland with
abundant (and very active) birdlife.
Elephants can be heard, and sometimes seen, and the sound of
hippos grunting in the Zambezi River can be heard from the lodge.
The lodge is easily accessible
by two and four wheel drive vehicles that makes it an ideal location
for self-drivers. THORNTREE

Thorntree Lodge is situated on the banks of the Zambezi
River, within the renowned Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park just 15
kilometres upstream from the spectacular Victoria Falls. Thorntree Lodge offers guests a unique personal African
experience. The lodge has
6 en-suite river facing rooms and 2 honeymoon suites.
All the rooms are beautifully furnished and offer guests an
opportunity to shower outdoors under the African sky.
The entire lodge has been constructed using natural
materials. The use of
indigenous woods and thatching provides plenty of cool shade and the
unmistakable feel of a true safari camp. The Lodge blends naturally into the riverine vegetation and
commands superb river views from its main deck and private verandas.
The
centrally situated lounge and dining area offer exquisite cuisine and
refreshingly cold drinks. The swimming pool with thatched lapa offers
guests a wonderful opportunity to cool off and relax during the heat
of the day. Guests can enjoy the Zambezi's famous sunsets and perhaps
watch the regular procession of elephant as they follow an age-old
migration route that runs directly in front of the Lodge. Pontoon
boats take guest out onto the Zambezi River to enjoy and appreciate
the unspoiled beauty of this lovely stretch of river. Feel its peace
and serenity while you enjoy a drink, cast a line or raise your
binoculars to the passing array of animals and birds. The

a haven for many other species including giraffe, sable, zebra,
